I always trusted her advice and direction, from which properties would be a good/bad investment to what types of renovations to focus on that would add value to the different properties. She also supplied countless recommendations for every process that is needed in the home buying process (i.e. lenders, home insurance providers, home inspectors, etc.). As a first time home buyer, this was incredibly helpful and without her go-to resources for these items, it would have been a much more stressful process. My husband and I just bought our first home with the help of Dawn and her husband, Terry! We’re not originally from the area and don’t have many friends or family in Atlanta who have recently bought homes, so we had no realtor-referrals to rely on. I started researching realtors for in-town Atlanta homes who also have a lot of knowledge of West Midtown, Buckhead, Virginia Highlands, and a few other neighborhoods. We were instantly impressed with Dawn’s reviews and the fact that her husband is a general contractor (for any repairs, home updates, second opinions), so we knew she was the realtor for us- and we’re so happy with our decision! Dawn listened to our long list of must-haves and found us countless homes to look at. The Atlanta market is extremely competitive, so anytime a new house came on the market we needed to move fast or else it went under contract (usually a 24 hour turnaround). Dawn made sure we went to see all houses right away and already had the paperwork ready in case we wanted to put in an offer. She was extremely supportive throughout the emotional roller-coaster and even sent me flowers at work when one of our contracts fell through! When we finally got our home under contract- Dawn went straight to work on negotiating a great deal for us, including re-negotiating competitive terms when the inspection turned out less than ideal. She has an amazing design sense and helped me visualize updates in the home (layout, furniture, you name it)! We had a wonderful experience and she even sent her husband to the home to give us second opinions on some of the necessary repairs. In the end, we are so happy with our home and the service we received from Dawn! We are now working with her husband, Terry, for some home updates/repairs on the home and are so excited about how the project is coming along! Terry and Dawn are extremely honest and told us multiple times (in other homes we were looking at) why they thought it may not be the best investment. If you want to work with trustworthy, dedicated people with great taste, then I highly recommend Dawn and Terry! We will definitely be working with them in the future if we decide to sell/buy a new home.
